Founded in 1972, J&N Contractors has shown steady growth to become one of the market leaders within the industry.

Back in 1972 "J&N's" was a simple small partnership formed by two brothers, Harry and Orry, who since being demobbed from the Navy and Army had been employed by the various building and painting firms who were gradually restoring London's East End to it's former glory.

They decided to stop working for others and so calling themselves 'J&N Painting Contractors' (the initials of their wives names) began trading for themselves.

The ethos they worked to was one of honesty, earning them an enviable reputation that customers, surveyors, and architects admired, gaining them repeat business and many recommendations.

This ethos is at the heart of J&N Contractors still today and is something that we are immensely proud of.
When today's Managing Director took the reins, he brought on board an eagerness to expand what he knew could be a market leading company.
Still small enough to ensure that their customers are the most important consideration but big enough to cope with larger and more multi-skilled contracts in each passing year.
